Top 100 Women of Impact: Kelly Eichler

Kelly Eichler

Deputy Chief of Staff, Governor’s Office
Board Trustee, University of Arkansas

About me: Always a Razorback cheerleader, I have loved serving on the university’s board. I am grateful to serve the state of Arkansas in my role as deputy chief of staff, the opportunity presented by Gov. Sanders. Most importantly, I’m blessed with a wonderful husband and two exceptional boys.

Lives/Works in: Little Rock

Best Career Advice: Just be nice to people.

Lesson Learned the Hard Way: As a young lawyer, I quit a job because I did not get the promotion I wanted, and I missed out on a lot of learning opportunities. I learned that being impetuous did not serve me well.

Proudest Moment of Impact: Seeing how much fun moms could have while benefiting their children’s school. I saw this at Forest Park Elementary when I served as president of the PTA.

Call to Action: Consider helping The Centers and the good they do for children and adults with mental health issues.

What Keeps Me Motivated: My husband. He encourages me with every turn.
