Lives/Works in: Little Rock

Best Career Advice: Do the work. Many people will talk about what they are going to do, but rarely execute. There is inherent value in not only coming up with great ideas, but also being able to implement them.

Proudest Moment of Impact: Helping to launch the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas’ Women’s Economic Mobility Hub, which is designed specifically to support Black women-owned businesses as vehicles for economic mobility. To date, the WFA has invested $200,000 toward helping Black entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. Meeting each WEM Hub participant has changed my life profoundly, and I’m proud to have played a small part in helping them achieve their goals.

Call to Action: Little Rock has so much to offer. I encourage people of all ages to get involved with your local civic organizations and help us to reimagine our communities so that all Arkansans can live, work and play in the capital city for generations to come.

What Keeps Me Motivated: Each of my three businesses serve a distinct purpose in my life, both professionally and personally. Most importantly, they have allowed me the freedom and flexibility to chart my own path, and that keeps me motivated to work hard every day.
