Ladies and gentlemen, Tabriz is back.
The Arkansas Arts Center’s biennial event will take place on Thursday, March 12, and Saturday, March 14. Tabriz is the AAC’s can’t-miss occasion celebrating their permanent collection and raising funds for educational programs and art acquisitions.
Tabriz comprises two fabulous events: The bazaar and the gala. The Bazaar of Tabriz takes place Thursday night, complete with drinks, food (yes, the hot dogs) and Little Rock’s oldest silent auction.
Saturday night’s black-tie Gala of Tabriz will be, as the AAC noted, “fresh, exotic, creative, different and at the same time, authentic.” Translation: Expect an evening nothing less than glamorous, friends.
Del Boyette will serve as the event’s chair, with Millie Ward and Sara Batcheller as co-chairs.
“The Arkansas Arts Center is an extremely valuable source of creativity and education, which is vital to the growing reputation of Arkansas’s excellence in cultural opportunities,” said Boyette. “Tabriz is considered one of the signature events of the Arkansas black-tie season with a history of success for decades.”
