These Little Rock Festivals are Officially Canceled for 2020

A big part of the beloved central Arkansas fall event lineup is the festivals. From the chili and the cornbread to the arts and brews, fall fests are a known and loved perk to living in Little Rock.

But with the current pandemic, festival organizers are taking precautions to keep people safe, and for many, that includes holding off on events for 2020. While it’s a major bummer, we applaud the commitment of these organizations to keep people safe and at home.

We’ll continue to update this list as we find out more.

HarvestFest

This year would have marked the 26th year of this Hillcrest staple. Given the incredible turnout in the tens of thousands for the past few years, HarvestFest organizers agreed it wouldn’t be safe or feasible to put on the festival this year. It was originally set for Oct. 24, but festival organizers are committed to bringing HarvestFest back in 2021.

Little Rocktoberfest

Little Rocktoberfest will return in 2021 after much consideration from festival organizers. But there is some good news — there’s already a date in place for next year. Save the date to enjoy a few cold ones on Sept. 25, 2021, at War Memorial Stadium.

Main Street Food Truck Festival

You have some more time to prep your stomach for the marathon of food that is the Main Street Food Truck Festival. With COVID-19 showing no signs of slowing down, the Downtown Little Rock Partnership has announced the 10th Main Street Food Truck Festival will be rescheduled for September of 2021.

Acansa Arts Festival

To protect the safety of patrons and artists who typically travel from across the U.S. and even the globe to join the festival, Acansa Arts Festival of the South has cancelled the seventh annual festival originally scheduled for Sept. 10-27. But Acansa will continue the Acansa A(r)T HOME series featuring videos and other digital content in partnership with artists and organizations throughout central Arkansas and around the world.
