Failure isn’t a topic people like to dwell on, but for The Yarn’s first storytelling production of 2019, failure will be the central focus. On Jan. 31 at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, 10 storytellers will share true tales that shine a light on steps to success and the detours along the way.
“Failure … can be one of life’s groundbreaking moments to learn,” said Errin Stanger, deputy director at the Innovation Hub. “Most of the time it involves fear. But let’s look at it a different way and encourage others to learn from the failure, overcome the fear and embrace the challenge to improve.”
The show starts at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online.
The Yarn is a storytelling initiative founded in 2017 in Little Rock. Through the power of story, the Yarn creates space to amplify voices, break down barriers and build human connections. Productions are centered around themes that reflect social issues and the reality of life in the local community.
