Third Friday Argenta Art Walk, North Little Rock: It’s time to go on a walk, everybody. Lace up your comfy shoes because this fun walk is all about strolling through the Argenta Arts District’s monthly lineup of special exhibits. Walkable galleries include Claytime Pottery, Mugs Café, Greg Thompson Fine Art, Core Brewery, Southern Women Artisans Guild, Barry Thomas Fine Art & Studio, Argenta Branch of Laman Library and StudioMain. The Art Walk runs from 5-8 p.m. For more info, click here.

This dinner gathering is all about teaching guests “the nuances of fine tequila.” Expect multiple courses all expertly paired with Patron, while pro Johnny Maddox walks you through it. Arvest Little Rock Gran Fondo and Block Party through Little Rock: At the ready, riders! Approximately 70 miles of premium Arkansas scenery await on this bike tour (gran fondo means “big ride” in Italian, btw), or 40 miles if you opt for the Medio. Whether or not you ride, you can still enjoy the block party afterward in the HIA Velo parking lot, complete with food and drinks from Lost Forty, live music from Bonnie Montgomery, door prizes and more. Riders start at 8 a.m. and the after party starts at 11 a.m. For more info, click here.

Gran Fondo Recipe: Scott McGehee’s Cabbage, Green Tomato, Duke’s Mayo & Jalapeño Slaw

Modern Pioneering Get Together at 6th and Scott parking deck, Little Rock: Georgia Pellegrini is bringing her workshop to downtown Little Rock. Set on top of a parking deck, attendees will get eats, drinks, a flower styling demonstration with Tanarah Luke Floral, guided meditation with Barefoot Studio and more. Legends in Argenta at the Argenta Plaza, North Little Rock: The annual Legends of Arkansas music festival may not be until September, but this preview event is right on our doorstep. Expect food trucks, local vendors, lots of craft beer and live music. Bonus: All proceeds help tackle the problem of homelessness in Arkansas by benefitting The Van. Friday-Sunday, May 19-21

International Greek Food Festival at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Little Rock: Finally. The time has come to eat your weight in gyros at this 33rd annual event. The weekend includes tons of food (duh), but also live entertainment, an Old World Market, kids activities, church tours and more. Admission this year is $3 or a donation of three canned food items (all going to charity), but parking and trolley service to the fest are still free. If you can’t stay and party, cruise through the drive through or call Chef Shuttle and enjoy your pastitsio on the go. Hours are 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Sunday.
