Celebrate all things community theater at the third annual Dark Night event. The Dark Night is a tradition that started in 2017 and is always held on a Monday, a night of the week theaters are usually “dark,” or closed to give the actors and crew a day off.
Central Arkansas theaters and supporters will come together on Monday, Nov. 4, at The Studio Theatre to support and recognize the theater community. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and live performances from local actors and troupes.
The 2019 event will honor three women who are longtime supporters of theater: Kathryn Pryor, Jamie Scott Blakey and Dena Kimberling. The Carol Channing Award for Education will also be presented to the Royal Young Players from Benton.
The evening kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Snag your ticket here. For more info on the Dark Night, head to The Studio Theatre’s Facebook page.
