The Southern Gourmasian to Host Five Course Farm-to-Table Dinner

This sounds like a delcious partnership that was meant to be. Prestonrose Farm, The Southern Gourmasian and Stone’s Throw Brewing are teaming up to host a farm-to-table dinner.

The dinner will be hosted at The Southern Gourmasian’s restaurant, located downtown on Capitol Avenue, on Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

The five course meal will feature many foods that you may not have ever heard of before — but don’t let that stop you from trying them. Some of the dishes include Korroke (a Japanese potato croquette), sunflower petals and “marrow,” cucumber gazpacho, and bulgogi pork.

Each course comes with a beer pairing from Stone’s Throw.

“Everything on the entire menu is from a single farm,” said The Southern Gourmasian owner Justin Patterson. “This is the first time working with Prestonrose. It’s a very casual event.”

Tickets are $50 apiece or $90 for two.

For more about the dinner, you can visit the Facebook page for the event.

The dinner is part of a monthly series of five-course pairing dinners with Stone’s Throw Brewing and The Southern Gourmasian.
