It’s not enough that the Arkansas Repertory Theatre puts on a string of unbelievably great productions, enriching the community tenfold. Now its annual fundraiser ArtWorks XXVII is back for more.
The Rep has accumulated a stunning art lineup for the event’s silent and live auctions, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the theater. The work of more than 90 central Arkansas artists will be up for grabs, everything from watercolor and photography to pottery and jewelry.
Much of the art that you see in the theater’s lobby comes from ArtWorks contributors. Their work is available for purchase during the MainStage Season, so keep your eyes open for anything you might like to have on your own walls at home.
ArtWorks XXVII offers a night full of art, live music, libations and hors d’oeuvres from some of your favorite Little Rock spots like Three Fold, Southern Gourmasian, BRAVO! Cucina Italiana, RSVP Catering and Sufficient Grounds.
The night will also feature several celebrity emcees to help auction off pieces including KATV Saturday Morning Daybreak co-host Renee Shapiro, Arkansas Travelers marketing director Lance Restum, THV11 anchor Dawn Scott, Little Rock School District marketing director Pamela Smith and more.
