The Rep is ready to party once more.
On Saturday, March 4, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre will debut a new iteration of its fundraising gala Ovation!, formerly known as the lavish Saints & Sinners, to be held on the theater’s storied grounds.
The final Saints & Sinners gala was held in 2018 before The Rep suspended operations to undergo a successful rebuilding campaign, and was set to make its grand return in spring 2020.
Chaired by Susie and Brian Rosenthal, Ovation! will open with a specialty cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner from Heritage Catering, live performances, luxury auction and after party, with all activities taking place throughout The Rep.
Taking center stage will be Broadway star Nathaniel Stampley performing “The Best is Yet to Come: The Music of Cy Coleman” with “a who’s who of local divas” including Karen Q. Clark, Felicia Dinwiddie, Brianna East, Hannah Fairman, Emily Fenton, Amaya Hardin, Miranda Jane, Vivian Norman, Kathryn Pryor, Judy Trice and Allison Wilson.
“Parties are theater, and theater’s a party,” says Will Trice, The Rep’s executive artistic director. “We can’t wait to welcome patrons throughout all our spaces here at The Rep. From the design, to the food and drink, to the entertainment, this evening will be an immersive experience, as unique and fun as it is elegant.”
