The Rep Announces Auditions for ‘Spamalot’

There’s nothing like some Monty Python news to help you look on the bright side of life.

In preparation for the upcoming 2016-17 season, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre recently announced local auditions for their production of Monty Python’s “Spamalot.”

Auditions will take place on the morning and afternoon of Saturday, April 16, no earlier, no later. April 16 shall be the date thou shalt audition, and the date of the auditioning shall be April 16.

Auditions will be by appointment only at The Rep’s Education Annex, located at 518 Main St. Those looking to audition should bring 32 bars of sheet music either from, or in the style of the show, and may be asked to read from the script. An accompanist and audition sides will be provided.

Rehearsals begin Aug. 9, the opening is Sept. 2 and closing is Oct. 2. Must be 18 or older.
