The Rep and Loblolly Creamery to Host Naming Contest for ‘Elf’-Inspired Ice Cream

If smiling’s your favorite, then get ready, because we have incredible news!

To coincide with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s upcoming production of “Elf the Musical,” they’ve teamed up with Loblolly Creamery to create a specialty ice cream to serve at The Rep throughout the play’s run.

The even better news? You get to name it!

Starting today, Loblolly and The Rep are hosting a flavor-naming contest for the ice cream, which is a sweet cream with peppermint chunks and house-made marshmallows. (Be right back; we’re dying over here.)

All you have to do is submit a unique name on the survey page (NOT on Facebook) before Nov. 17. We repeat: Do not post your idea on Facebook or some Scrooge will definitely steal your idea.

The professionals will whittle down the submissions to five, post them on The Rep’s Facebook page and then it’s up to the followers to vote for the best one. The winner gets two free tickets to “Elf,” a pint of the ice cream with the name on it and the most trump-worthy bragging rights known to mankind or elf-kind.

You can find this delicious treat at Loblolly Creamery and at The Rep until the end of the year.

We strategically left out any “Elf” flavor references in this article so you can’t steal our ideas. The race is on, and you are going down.
