The Pork & Bourbon Tour Hits Southern Eats On Two Wheels

Life is all about balance, right?

Right. It’s a rule we live by, and so does the team at Bobby’s Bike Hike. More than just a bicycle rental shop located in the River Market, Bobby’s hosts all sorts of tours, rides and events throughout the course of a year, one of those being the infamous Pork & Bourbon Tour.

Riders work up an appetite—that’s for sure—as they make their way through the River Market, SoMa, Downtown and Argenta. Lucky for them, they’ll remedy that hunger by sampling some Southern staples on the ride, including ribs, sides, desserts, local craft beer and bourbon. Riders will also get to learn the history behind the food and the scenery along the way.

If you’re a little worried about infringing on your New Year’s resolutions, not to worry. There are also veggie options available. Score!

The Pork & Bourbon Tour kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays. This easy ride is about eight miles long, and will take about three hours to complete. Reservation fees cover your bike, helmet, guide and all food and drink samples.
