Inaugural Little Rock Micro Fondo Takes Place This Weekend

A new bike tour is hitting the streets this weekend. The inaugural Little Rock Micro Fondo takes place on Saturday, Oct. 14.

This new cycling tour is shorter than a traditional fondo, clocking in at a “leisurely” 10 miles, but still delivers on the fun. Cyclists will set off from the Shift Bicycle Shop for a route through Little Rock’s historic landmarks led by historian Jodi Morris, and will have many chances to savor delicious, plant-based cuisine along the way.

Along the route, you’ll find four food stops that will not only be a treat for your taste buds, but will also energize you to complete the journey. As you complete the tour loop, you’ll be welcomed back to the shop where chef Alicia Watson of Vito & Vera, winner of the Food Network’s Big Restaurant Bet competition, will craft the menu for the finale feast.

Riders, you don’t want to miss this first-ever “blend of cycling, history and delectable plant-based cuisine” where proceeds will benefit Recycle Bikes for Kids. To register, click here.
