The Greek Food Festival Starts This Week

We are only a few short days away from one of our (and central Arkansas’) favorite events, the International Greek Food Festival. And FYI, we are in straight-up pergatory until we can get our hands on some baklava.

The 31st annual festival runs this Friday through Sunday and is a non-stop good time complete with entertainment, cultural dancing, church tours, an Old World Market and of course, more authentic Greek and Mediterranean food than you can shake a gyro at.

If you don’t have time to stop and smell the k-bobs, never fear, citizen. Just call ahead and pick yours up curbside to go.

Proceeds from the event go to a number of charities and organizations, including Easter Seals,CARTIArkansas Children’s HospitalHarmony HealthCommunity ConnectionsWolfe Street Foundation and Youth Home

Everything takes place at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church at 1100 Napa Valley Drive in west Little Rock. Stop in from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday.

For more information, check out the International Greek Food Festival website and follow them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram

Now please join us in drooling over this video. Two words: Olympic doughnuts. Opa!
