The Face of Orthopedics: Baptist Health Orthopedic Clinic

Dr. Adam Norwood is a Seattle native with long ties to Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University where he met his wife Hayden, and they have been married for 20 years. Norwood attended medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, then completed five years of residency in Oklahoma City through Oklahoma State University. He also completed a fellowship for hip and knee replacements at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Norwood and his wife have four children, two who are teenagers and two who are toddlers. With four kids, younger and older, they are constantly busy and it’s never quiet. Norwood enjoys hunting, fishing and skiing with the family. He loves building things with his hands and credits his dad and grandfather for creating that love in him. Norwood loves interacting with patients and seeing them get back to a pain-free quality of life.
