Come fly with UAMS, Little Rock.
The 2016 Gala for Life is being taken over by The Rat Pack on Friday, Sept. 30. Hosted at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, this annual UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (WRCI) fundraising event is a night out on the town in pure ’60s fashion.
The evening is one full of cocktails, dinner and dancing the night away to the live sounds of The Rat Pack Tribute Show. Attire for the event is vintage ‘60s formal wear or classic black tie.
Proceeds from this year’s event benefit the UAMS Radiation Oncology Center. They will go toward supporting training programs, critical technology and research into minimizing adverse effects of radiation therapy for long-term cancer survivors, among other cancer initiatives at the WRCI.
It all begins at 6:30 p.m. Get your tickets here and contact Phyllis Lovelace for more information at (501) 526-2277 or pglovelace@uams.edu. Visit the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute website for more on the treatment center.
