We finally know what’s going into the previous Ten Thousand Villages space: The Barn Mercantile.
Owners Michelle and Leroy DuBre of Kilwins are bringing a brand new shop to the corner store at 301 President Clinton Ave., one that cultivates, according to a press release, “an atmosphere that influences and captures the spirit of Arkansas and the downtown River Market District through local and regional products, customer service and unique design.”
The 1,720-SF space will focus on Southern folk art while carrying items like local handmade soaps, organic cosmetics, apparel, home decor and much more.
“We look forward to bringing more retail to downtown Little Rock and making a new footprint in the River Market District,” Michelle says, “which we have always been passionate and care deeply about.”
The Barn Mercantile is set to open in August, next door to the brand new Nexus Coffee & Creative.
