Little Rock turned teal as the Arkansas Ovarian Cancer Coalition held its annual Teal Light Night event at the Statehouse Convention Center. Guests celebrated survivors, remembered those lost and raised money for ovarian cancer awareness. Simone Brock was honored as the AROVCC Member of the Year, Dr. Jia Liu received the Community Champion Award and Hayley Scott was awarded the Taryn’s Fight Like a Girl Scholarship. Luminaries were displayed in honor and memory of loved ones while the river bridges and Simmons Bank were lit in teal, the official color of ovarian cancer awareness.
