Celebrating its 26th year, the Little Rock Bop Club just opened a brand new dancing venue in west Little Rock. The Ballroom on Shackleford, located at 1300 N. Shackleford, is now home to the newest, nicest dance floor in the metro.
The Little Rock Bop Club’s mission is “to promote all forms of swing dance by providing quality dance opportunities in a welcoming, enthusiastic atmosphere and conducting other activities promoting the enjoyment of all forms of swing dance.”
The club is doing just that in its brand new venue, teaming up with the BLS Ballroom, Latin and Swing Social Dance Association and the Little Rock Country Dancers to co-lease the space.
To celebrate The Ballroom on Shackleford’s grand opening, from 7-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, guests can stop in to shake their groove things with plenty of refreshments to go around. Get all the details here.
The Little Rock Bop Club meets every Wednesday playing all the hits from the 1960s to today. Guests and members can come dance however they please or join in on the free lessons from 7-8 p.m.
