Back in September, renovation plans for the Robinson Center Music Hall were released with the work budgeted at $68.6 million — with $60 million of that being actual building costs. And if plans are on track, will be completed by 2016.
In order to complete this major restoration project, the Restore Robinson Campaign is underway with a special event from 5:30-8:30 tomorrow night (Nov. 6) at Pavilion in the Park, 8201 Cantrell Road, Little Rock.
Enjoy food, beverages and entertainment while learning more about the project, which doesn’t require a new tax, but does need a vote to go through. A special election is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10, asking citizens to utilize the existing 2 percent A & P tax for the repayment of a public bond initiative to fund the renovations.
