This is your chance to meet a real-life cheetah while raising funds to save cheetahs in the wild. The Governor and First Lady will host an exclusive cocktail event promoting cheetah conservation at the Governor’s Mansion on Friday, Nov. 15.
Thanks to the Arkansas Zoological Foundation, guests will have the chance to meet a cheetah from the Columbus Zoo’s Ambassador Animal Program. The event serves to raise awareness for the Cheetah Conservation Fund, an organization dedicated to saving cheetahs in the wild. Funds will also go toward the state’s only accredited zoo, the Little Rock Zoo.
VIP guests gain entry an hour before the general admission and have a chance to meet the cheetah up-close and have their photo taken with Gov. Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson. At 6:30 p.m., general admission guests can meet animals from the Little Rock Zoo and the cheetah from the Columbus Zoo.
Leave the kids with the babysitter (it’s an adults-only event), and dress up in cocktail attire for this wild evening of zoo animals and cocktails. Tickets are expected to go fast, so secure yours online today.
