The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, 501 W. Ninth St., Little Rock, has cancelled its “It’s in the Bag” Lunch ‘n Learn program today (Feb. 4).
The program from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. was supposed to feature John Cain, program manager for KABF, and the cast members from the play.
The “It’s in the Bag” Lunch ‘n Learn Series, which was created as a part of MTCC’s fifth anniversary celebration last September, offers a chance to learn about a host of topics designed to educate, inspire and entertain locals.
Previous programs have centered on the museum’s recent “Shades of Greatness: Art Inspired by Negro Leagues Baseball” exhibit and the topic of “The Entrepreneurial Spirit,” which featured local African American business owners.
Mosaic Templars Cultural Center provides soda and water, and attendees bring their own lunch. It is free and open to the public.
