Two local breweries are teaming up to give us the perfect way to welcome May.
On Friday, May 7, Flyway Brewing and Stone’s Throw Brewing will host an ’80s comedy double feature on the field at War Memorial Stadium. Up first on the big screen is “Spaceballs,” followed by “Three Amigos.”
Attendees can get their fill of bottomless popcorn and brews from Flyway and Stone’s Throw, or opt for sodas and eats from on-site food trucks like Delta Biscuit Co., as they spread out on blankets and chairs.
The event, aptly titled Beers & Movies, is open to those 21 and older. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with “Spaceballs” airing at 6 p.m. and “Three Amigos” at 8 p.m.
