The bad news is Stone’s Throw Brewing will not be hosting its traditional block party birthday celebration in MacArthur Park this year. The good news is you’ll still be able to get your favorite brews to-go.
In light of COVID-19, Stone’s Throw is switching things up to host a drive-thru Block on Rock experience on Saturday, Aug. 1.. They’ve put together a Block on Rock package with merch, beer and swag from their sponsors for $25 that you can enjoy at a safe distance.
As always, portion of the profits from each package will benefit Preserve Arkansas, a group dedicated to historic preservation here in The Natural State.
Stone’s Throw will also have plenty of delicious beer and cider specials at the Block on Rock tent from 2-6 p.m., so mark your calendars for this year’s Block on Rock 2020: Pandemic Edition.
