We are sad to report Starving Artist Café has closed. The Argenta based restaurant, which displayed works by local artists, made the announcement this weekend and officially closed its doors Saturday.
On its Facebook page, owners said: “It’s been a labor of love, an artistic project offering a healthy alternative to the mainstream. We hope you enjoyed experiencing it as much as I did making it. Thanks for the good times and support.”
The restaurant hosted “Tales from the South” radio show Tuesday nights, which will now move to the Argenta Branch of the Laman Library.
