In February, we wore red to help get the word out about the American Heart Association’s fight against the number one killer of women — heart disease. Now it’s time to kick it up a notch.
The Central Arkansas American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women luncheon will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Little Rock. To help drive home the message, TV host, attorney and author Star Jones will be in attendance to share her battle with heart disease.
The luncheon will also include an educational health expo, screenings, an auction and more. The 2015 class of Go Red For Women Featured Survivors will also be celebrated at the event, including the Circle of Red and Red Tie Society members, as well as the 2015 chair, Elizabeth Banko.
So make your reservations and get to the Go Red For Women luncheon, where you can learn a thing or two while contributing to a cause that affects an estimated 43 million women in the U.S.
Tickets are can be purchased at CentralARGoRed.Heart.org or by calling (501) 707-6584.
