25th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Hits the Streets March 14

Get ready to paint the town green. The 25th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to downtown Little Rock on Saturday, March 14, with festivities beginning at 1 p.m.

Coordinated by the Irish Cultural Society of Arkansas, the free, family-friendly event celebrates Irish heritage and cultural diversity across central Arkansas. Now in its 25th year, the parade has become a springtime tradition, drawing crowds dressed head to toe in green.

Spectators can expect festive floats, marching pipe and drum bands and plenty of Irish spirit, along with craft beer and post-parade celebrations throughout the city.

The parade begins at Sixth and Main streets in North Little Rock, travels through the Argenta Arts District, crosses the Main Street Bridge and continues through the River Market District before ending at Third and Cumberland streets in Little Rock. Prime viewing areas include Argenta, the River Market District and Third Street near Dugan’s Pub.

Following the parade, the pub’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party will keep the street closed and the party going. “Dancing at the Crossroads” will take place on the grandstand and feature live music and traditional Irish dance performances by the McCafferty Academy of Irish Dance and the O’Donovan School of Irish Dance.

David and Meghan Baser will serve as the 2026 grand marshals. Members of the Irish Cultural Society since 2011, the couple has spent the past 15 years volunteering and supporting the organization alongside their children.

Additional St. Patrick’s Day festivities are planned for March 14, including a citywide bar crawl featuring drink specials and food deals at participating locations.
