The Arkansas State House Society’s signature event (formerly called the Seersucker Social) took to the lawn of the Old State House Museum in April. Attendees donned their Southern best and enjoyed lawn games, hors d’oeuvres, mint juleps and live music, plus awards for best dressed. Proceeds benefited the School Bus Fund, the museum’s initiative enabling area schools to visit and learn about Arkansas history.
