Soup Sunday 2021 Features Month-Long Specials at Local Restaurants

Soup Sunday is getting a makeover for its 40th year. Foregoing a crowded gathering at the Statehouse Convention Center, the local favorite event benefiting Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families will instead take place virtually and via restaurants across the city.

This year, a ticket to Soup Sunday not only gets you access to the virtual event Feb. 21, but also access to specials at more than 25 participating restaurants in the metro throughout the month of February.

“It’s been exciting to figure out how to creatively support AACF and the restaurants with this unique event,” says Soup Sunday co-chair Sidney Leasure.

Here’s a peek at the lineup so far:

“We never would have guessed we would host our 40th Soup Sunday over the internet,” says AACF executive director Rich Huddleston, “but I am thrilled with and proud of our staff, committee members and volunteers who have made this event a reality.”
