Monica Dellimore, M.D.
Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Little Rock Eye Clinic
The Little Rock Eye Clinic represents a continuum of eye care spanning more than 55 years. We offer medical and surgical management of most ocular conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, strabismus and eyelid disorders. We provide subspecialty care in the management of glaucoma, cornea and neuro-ophthalmologic disorders. I enjoy my role at the LREC because of the opportunity to work closely with patients on needs that range from needing new glasses to more complex issues, such as the surgical management of cataracts or crossed eyes.
ON POWER
People often underestimate the power of kindness and prayer. I felt most powerful when I completed my leg of the Little Rock Marathon relay. A true sign of power is receiving respect when you’re not expecting it.
ON MOTIVATION
I have the opportunity to sometimes improve the quality of life of my patients.
Career goal? To keep doing this for as long as I can.
ON SUCCESS
I feel successful now because I’m living out my childhood dreams of being an eye doctor.
TYPICAL WEEKEND
I try to keep weekends as kid-focused as possible. My husband and I love having Friday movie rental night with our two boys. On Saturdays, I’m usually taking the boys to the park, fishing, or going to a birthday party. On Sundays, we’re off to church.
