Kimberly Hipps
TITLE : VP, Branch Area Manager
COMPANY : National Bank of Arkansas
My role at National Bank of Arkansas is to provide leadership, direction and goals for multiple NBA locations. I listen to both our customers and staff and determine what services to provide in order to assist each customer in attaining their financial goals. Working with my customers is more like “a friend helping a friend.” NBA has served Central Arkansas since 1981. I have had the privilege of working for the bank since I moved to Little Rock in 2002.
Why I Love This
I think people are fun! Every day I’m meeting, getting to know and helping someone new. My hope is that in some way we (NBA) change our customer’s lives and our community for the better.
Career Goal
To help NBA continue our tradition of great banking in central Arkansas. I hope to contribute to the success of our employees, bank and, ultimately, our customers.
Best business advice you ever received and who gave it: “Just ask; they can’t kill you!” I can’t remember who told me that, but it comes to mind quite often when I’m in a delicate situation with a customer. Who consistently inspires you? My friends and my sister consistently inspire me…they are mothers, doctors, nurses, bankers, decorators, sales people, fathers, husbands and wives. They have consistently pushed me to only expect the best for myself.
