Soiree Roundup: Sales and Trunk Shows in Little Rock this Weekend

B. Barnett has a lot going on this weekend, including a Cynthia Rose trunk show that features the designer’s spring and summer 2013 line of one-of-a-kind tops and fabulous evening wear. The show continues through Friday. The boutique is also hosting a Ranjana Khan trunk show on the same days. 

Barbara/Jean is hosting a St. John trunk show to present the line’s 2013 resort collection. The show runs through 3 p.m. Friday.

Through Saturday (Oct. 27,) Dillard’s in Park Plaza Mall and McCain Mall are hosting a Handbag Trade-In Event. Customers can bring in any gently used handbag or watch and receive a discount on any regular-priced handbag, wallet or watch purchase of $50 or more. Customers will save $15 on a handbag or watch valued at $50-$75; $25 on a handbag or watch valued at $76-$125; $40 on a handbag or watch valued at $126-$199; and $50 on a handbag or watch valued at $200 or more. The used handbags and watches will be donated to My Favorite Thrift Store, which benefits Our House Shelter for the Working Homeless.

Customer Appreciation Day at Indigo in Park Plaza Mall will be held from 4-9 p.m. Friday. With a purchase, customers will receive an Indigo tote bag and 20 percent off anything they can fit inside. There will also be a drawing for a Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, beverages and snacks.

The UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Partners Card Week runs through Nov. 4. Cards cost $50 each and offer customers 20 percent discounts at more than 170 participating retailers. All proceeds from the sale of the Partners Cards will benefit the Cancer Institute’s volunteer auxiliary to fund projects that directly benefit cancer patients in Arkansas.
