Q: What is pediatric care?
A: Pediatric care is frontline medical care by pediatricians for infants, children and adolescents. We give accessible and continuous care to support a child’s well-being. Working with parents and caregivers, we keep children healthy through prevention and early treatment of problems.
Q: What makes statewide care at Arkansas Children’s Pediatrics unique?
A: We are the starting point for referrals. When a patient needs more specialized care, we provide quick and easy access to our pediatric specialists at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale.
Q: What pediatric health care services do you provide for children?
A: We provide wellness visits, preventive screenings, growth and development monitoring, vaccinations and counseling about nutrition, safety and behavior. We manage acute illness, like the flu, as well as chronic disease management for conditions like asthma, ADHD, depression, anxiety and obesity.
