On April 27, the fifth annual Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium was held at the DoubleTree Hotel and Robinson Center in downtown Little Rock with a sold-out crowd of more than 540 attendees from central Arkansas and beyond.
Before dividing into breakout sessions led by local professionals and C-suite executives, Watch Me Excel Founder and CEO Lenetra King provided the opening keynote session on mentorship and sponsorship, followed by a panel discussion on maternal health with Dr. Nirvana Manning, chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at UAMS; Olivia Walton, chairperson of The Momentary and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art; and Christy Turlington Burns, founder and president of Every Mother Counts.
Closing out the symposium, Olympic gold medalist and soccer icon Mia Hamm provided the leading keynote address where she discussed her journey to take home multiple World Cup wins and to empower the next generation.
Special thanks to co-presenting sponsors Delta Dental of Arkansas and The Hatcher Agency; keynote sponsors Bank of America and Women’s Foundation of Arkansas; and to wellness sponsor The Breast Center at CARTI, who also hosted a VIP night at The Nest the evening before the symposium. We’d also like to thank our entrepreneur track sponsor Wright Lindsey Jennings Woman Run, our supporting sponsors Arvest Bank, Frito-Lay, Mitchell Williams and Simmons Bank, as well as all our corporate table sponsors.
