The day we stop getting excited about new restaurants is the day the sky falls down, and today is not that day.
The latest establishment to snag our attention is Skinny J’s in Argenta. With locations in Jonesboro and Paragould, Skinny J’s already has a loyal following, and it’s only a matter of (very short) time before it acquires the same love in central Arkansas.
The extensive menu consists of everything from classics like fried green tomatoes and grilled salmon, to new favorites like rueben eggrolls and bleu cheese filet. Did we mention there’s an oyster bar?
Skinny J’s is located at 314 Main St. in downtown North Little Rock, the space that was previously held by Cornerstone Pub (as pictured above). Operating hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, with the bar staying open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
