How do you personalize the jewelry buying experience?
We have one mission for our two stores and that is to earn our client’s trust. We want a visit to Sissy’s Log Cabin to be memorable, whether a client is coming in to have a battery changed or if they’re coming in to purchase one of our Rolex timepieces. We have two rules that are posted outside of our stores: 1.) The customer is always right 2.) If the customer is ever wrong, refer to rule #1. These are rules we follow each and every day.
What advice do you give jewelry customers?
For the past forty years, we have worked to gain our clients’ trust by providing them accurate information about their jewelry purchase. Our professional sales staff is able to simply and fully explain each facet of a jewelry purchase to insure that our client’s are able to make an informed decision. We believe that our customers should be as confident in their purchase as we were when we selected the piece for our store.
What makes something a conversation piece?
Uniqueness and one of a kind pieces of jewelry. We have ten designers and craftsmen on staff to work one on one with our guests to create unique designs with timeless quality. Our jewelers have won state, national, and international awards for their custom creations. We have the ability to take a client’s dream and make it a reality. Our design process begins at the counter with an idea, then takes shape with an artist’s rendering, followed by a hand carved wax or a computer aided design, which evolves into a magnificent piece of art.

Rolex has been an integral part of the success of Sissy’s Log Cabin. Our relationship with them has grown from a business partnership to a personal friendship.

What is the history of your store?
The story of Sissy’s Log Cabin began on an afternoon in 1970 when Sissy noticed a log cabin that was for sale on Highway 79 in Pine Bluff. Sissy, who is an avid collector of antiques, pulled into the doughnut shop across the street and called the number. Soon there after, Sissy’s Log Cabin was established. Eventually the old log cabin was torn down to make room for the 12,000 square foot log cabin you see today. In 2010, we expanded even further by opening a second location in Little Rock.
