A New Drive-Thru Halloween Experience is Coming to Downtown

Halloween is sure to look a little different this year, but the Downtown Little Rock Partnership is making sure there is still a bit of magic in the season with its new event Shadows at Sixth.

The DLRP and the Little Rock Zoo have teamed up to create a pandemic-safe, family-friendly haunted drive-thru experience. The event will take place in the parking deck at Sixth and Scott streets in downtown from Oct. 9-31, where guests never have to leave their cars to get in on the spookiness.

“Knowing haunted houses, hayrides and trick-or-treating would inevitably look different this year, we began brainstorming how we could still safely celebrate the fun of Halloween as a community,” DLRP Executive Director Gabe Holmstrom said.

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, CWP Productions and Night-Skye Studios will design the route, which will showcase the state’s most notorious ghost tales and urban legends, along with special effects and life narration. If you dare to make it to the top, the drive “will culminate with a wow-worthy moment at the top, with a beautiful moonlit view of the Little Rock skyline.”

Shadows at Sixth tickets are $25 per car online or $30 at the gate. You can experience it for yourself from 7-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 7-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here
