Send a Valentine Wish to an ACH Kid

When you were a kid, nothing felt quite as awesome as receiving something from your friends on Valentine’s Day. And although the patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital may spend the holiday a little differently than you did at their age, their excitement over those little messages remains the same.

That’s where you come in.

Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 2, you have the chance to send a free online valentine to an ACH kid. It only takes a few minutes to share a valentine with a positive personalized wish, and this year’s valentines come with an added bonus: Thanks to anonymous donor, every online wish means $1 will go toward ACH’s statewide outreach and advocacy programs (up to $100,000).

Also new this year, in stead of donating of handmade cards, ACH asks that you donate art supplies so kids can make their own cards to give to family and friends. Here are the supplies they’re looking for:

  • construction paper
  • foam stickers
  • googly eyes
  • glue dots
  • kid scissors
  • markers
  • rhinestones
  • sequins

All art supplies can be dropped off at at the hospital’s main entrance.

You have until Thursday, Feb. 11, to send your valentine, and you can send as many as you want. So go ahead. Whether or not you have a significant other, you do have two minutes to put a smile on a child’s face and maybe even your own.
