The Lions Club International has six international recycling facilities (Canada, Australia, Italy, France,
Spain and South Africa) and 11 domestic recycling facilities that accept eyeglasses by mail.

Glasses collected by local Lions Clubs are sent to a regional LERC where Lion volunteers:
•   Prepare the glasses for distribution.
•   Ship large quantities of prepared glasses to humanitarian distribution teams.
•   Supply Lions permanent clinics with an inventory of prepared glasses
