Now this is one way to get your history lesson for the day.
On Thursday, May 24, Preserve Arkansas will give riders a unique look at some of the city’s most endangered historic places.
Riders will set out from Rock Town River Outfitters in the River Market at 5:30 p.m. The troupe will then follow a laid-back, six-mile route around Little Rock, stopping at various historic properties threatened by demolition or neglect, all of which have made an appearance on the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas‘ annual list of Little Rock’s Most Endangered Places.
Each ticket includes a tour of Little Rock’s historic places and a special edition T-shirt. Riders can bring their own bicycle or reserve a bicycle donated by Rock Town River Outfitters.
