Newsflash: We’re at the tail end of the Soirée Cutest Dog Contest, with only 10 adorable pups left in the final round. (Help us crown a winner!)
And because we know many of you are in the market for your very own furry bundle of joy, we’d like to introduce you to Cora and Scarlett, two of the adoptable dogs currently at Central Arkansas Rescue Effort (CARE) for Animals.
Think you might want to make them part of your family? Begin with the online adoption application.

*Dogs in this Paws in Prison program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards, and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive families will receive Scarlett’s training journal, which documents her arrival from the shelter, daily training progress and interactions with trainers.
