Plans are officially under way for the fifth annual Women’s Leadership Summit events hosted by Arkansas Business, a sister publication of Little Rock Soirée magazine.
Presented by Simmons Bank, the regional summits will be held in Jonesboro on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Embassy Suites Red Wolf Convention Center, and in Fort Smith on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the ACHE Research Institute Health and Wellness Center.
The Women’s Leadership Summits bring leadership-focused opportunities to professionals from all over Arkansas and beyond. Each half-day event is packed with networking, skill sharing and motivational conversation, and a full lineup of speakers and sessions will be announced soon.
New this year to both summits are VIP networking events, each to be held the night before the main events.
“One of the powerful experiences that come from our women’s leadership programming is the building of networks for attendees,” says Mandy Richardson, summit founder and publisher of Soirée. “Those who really work a room, who engage with others from outside their business circles, really find value in doing so, but the challenge with a four-hour event with so much curriculum is that time for networking is limited.
“Our new VIP option will allow women to interact with one another in a casual and unique way prior to the big day, to establish a connection and circle back the next morning or simply build a baseline that might not have otherwise been achieved.”
In addition to these regional summits, 360 West magazine (which is published by Little Rock Soirée‘s parent company) will host its fourth annual 360 West Women’s Leadership Symposium in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, Sept. 26. Register here today and stay tuned for more session details.
