Save the Date for the Next Course 2019

Listen up, foodies.

The eighth annual The Next Course will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17. The night will feature five delicious courses made by talented local chefs. The evening begins with a wine reception at 6 p.m. followed by the first seated course at 7 p.m.

Here’s what you can expect on this year’s menu:

  • Char Sui pork belly with quick kimchi and a seared Tamaki rice cake — Chef Jordan Davis with Chenal Country Club
  • Roasted beet salad with champagne vinaigrette — Chef Shanna Merriweather with Trio’s 
  • Black rice crusted fish and chips with malt vinegar mayonnaise — Chef Scott Rains with Table 28
  • Stuffed quail with cajun crawfish stuffing — Chef Jamie McAfee with Pine Bluff Country Club
  • Sweet potato pie — Chef Cynthia Malik with Tacos 4 Life  

Proceeds from The Next Course benefit Youth Home by funding specific projects chosen by the event’s chefs. This year’s proceeds will be used to purchase new furniture for patient cottages on Youth Home’s campus.
