Save the Date for the 8th Annual Seersucker Social

Is it too early to be craving a mint julep?

The eighth annual Seersucker Social is on the horizon, and we’re unabashedly readying ourselves for the most Southern event in town. Hosted by the Arkansas State House Society, the event is set for Saturday, April 27, at the Old State House Museum

Dripping with down-home style, the Seersucker Social celebrates all good things about the South with the good ol’ boys and gals who love it. All proceeds benefit the School Bus Fund, a local initiative that enables area schools to visit the Old State House and learn about Arkansas history.

This is the signature event for the Old State House, so expect plenty of lawn games, hors d’oeuvres, mint juleps and live music. Dress in your quintessential Southern best (seersucker not required, but encouraged) and enjoy. There are even prizes for the best-dressed guy and gal.

Snag your early bird ticket today for $10 off full-price admission. For more information, visit the Old State House website or call (501) 324-8647.
