Ron Robinson Theater to (Finally) Reopen in March

Let’s try this again, shall we?

The Ron Robinson Theater, part of the Central Arkansas Library System, is set to reopen its doors with a full slate of screenings and programming beginning in March. It originally planned to reopen last summer, but has mostly remained closed to the public due to the pandemic

Unsurprisingly, the theater is coming back with a splash, including a lineup featuring the return of its popular film series Terror Tuesdays, new dates for the WellRed Comedy Tour and even a springtime appearance by Dr. Frank N. Furter.

Here’s what’s on the calendar for March:

  • March 1 – Terror Tuesdays: “House on Haunted Hill”
  • March 5 – An Evening with the Legends of Radio: Live and Unscripted
  • March 8 – Terror Tuesdays: “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die”
  • March 15 – Terror Tuesdays: “Night of the Living Dead”
  • March 17 – “Back to the Future”
  • March 19 – “The Godmother of Rock & Roll: Sister Rosetta Tharpe”
  • March 22 – Terror Tuesdays: “Dementia 13”
  • March 24 – “Back to the Future: Part II”
  • March 26 – “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”
  • March 29 – Terror Tuesdays: “Little Shop of Horrors”
  • March 31 – “Back to the Future: Part III”

The theater will have a new COVID policy in place. Proof of vaccination or negative test is required for ages 13 and older, and all guests must wear a mask.
