Rock Town Distillery will celebrate its eighth birthday by throwing a party for friends and supporters of the first legal distillery in Arkansas since Prohibition.
Rock Town recently made the move from East Village to the South Main area earlier this year. The new space offers much more space for operations, as well as a larger bar and tasting room.
To celebrate their big move and eight years in business, Rock Town will be celebrating all day long on Saturday, June 23. The day will include free tours from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., food trucks set up in the parking lot and cocktails and local craft beer in the new tasting room. To commemorate the day, Rock Town will also be selling its 8th Anniversary Whiskey, (a four-year-old straight rye whiskey), that will go on sale at 11 a.m.
If you prefer a more hands-on experience, Rock Town’s also offering an 8th Anniversary Barrelhouse Masterclass, which is a seated tasting hosted by founder and head distiller Phil Brandon. During the tasting, guests will learn all the details about Rock Town’s award-winning whiskeys. The tasting will include these Rock Town whiskeys: 8th Anniversary bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey, Arkansas Bourbon Whiskey, Arkansas Four Grain Sour Mash Bourbon and Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey.
The tasting starts at 6:30 p.m. on June 23. Space is limited and the cost is $60 per person. Tasting reservations can be made online here.
