More live music is coming to downtown Little Rock this summer thanks to a new concert series titled River Market Live hosted by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Similar to the seasonal Jazz in the Park series, River Market Live is free to the public and will be held in the River Market Pavilions on Thursdays in August, with each concert showcasing a different broad-reaching genre.
“We’re so excited to kick off this live event series in August by hosting four pavilion concerts in the River Market District, one of our city’s most visited areas,” LRCVB President and CEO Gina Gemberling says. “Our hope is that this first month of activities will foster additional River Market Live activations by others so our residents and visitors can have more great experiences.”
Without further ado, here’s the inaugural River Market Live lineup:
- Aug. 10 – The Karla Case Band
- Aug. 17 – SYNRG
- Aug. 24 – The Gravel Yard
- Aug. 31 – DJ Nick Hud
Shows start at 7 p.m. each week. Beverages will be available for purchase, and organizers are encouraging attendees to take advantage of nearby restaurants before and after the concerts.
