Cycling enthusiasts, get ready to pedal for a great cause.
Preparations for CARTI’s 18th annual Tour de Rock are officially underway as the cycling fundraiser is set for Saturday, Aug. 14, taking off from Washington Street in North Little Rock. Pulling in cyclists from across the country, this open-course ride winds through central Arkansas before landing back at the finish line.
Cyclists have four distance options to choose from: 25, 50, 62 or 100 miles. Riders will depart on a rolling start system, the first of which begins at 6:30 a.m.
To sweeten the deal, an after party awaits riders at Heifer International complete with food, music, vendors and a beer garden. Not a rider? No problem. You can purchase separate tickets and still get in to grab some grub at the after party.
Funds raised for the ride support CARTI’s continued fight against cancer by providing the most advanced forms of treatment available while also meeting the needs of patients and their families.
Find more information on the race and registration on the CARTI website, and keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
