Cooking classes are in full swing at Eggshells Kitchen Co., 5501 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock.
The spring, a couple of the best chefs (and mixologists) around will take over the store’s kitchen for nights of foodie fun. Restauranteur and chef Mark Abernathy (Loca Luna, Red Door, Blue Mesa Grill, Juanita’s and Bene Vita) will make a stop on Thursday, March 27, while Scott McGehee (Boulevard Bread Co., Big Orange, ZAZA Fine Salad + Wood Oven Pizza Co. and Local Lime) and renowned bartender and drink partner Lee Edwards will join forces for a special class on Friday, April 11.
You’ll be welcomed upon arrival with a glass of wine or beer, learn a ton about food and leave with a head full of knowledge and a satisfied tummy.
You are welcome to bring your own choice of beverage for the meal. McGehee and Edwards are coming together for a Friday night class in April, exploring the secrets of the perfect pickles and pâté and what adult beverages pair best with each. Check back here for updates on what Abernathy will be serving up!
Reservations are required and seats are extremely limited. Cost is $50 for Abernathy’s cooking classes and $65 per person for the McGehee and Edwards cooking class.
